Family Pictures

Recently, Aradia and Karina got new bikes. Here, we see Amy & Michele with their bikes, taken in the same area. Looks like the biggest difference in the pictures is the age of the bikes.

Yes, they were also young once, but they outgrew it.

Well, Buster was like one of the family. The best dog anybody could ask for - very well behaved and easy to take care of, except that he was terrified of his food and water bowls after someone accidentally kicked them. The only way he would eat was if the food was put on the floor, which didn't move. This worked out OK as long as it wasn't anything sloppy. The only way he would drink is if someone held the cup for him. He also used to rub his face on the rug when he was happy. He could actually talk, saying "I wanna go out", but I never got him on tape.

Way back when, if I wanted to grill a steak, I didn't let a little snow stop me....

One day as Barb came home from work, she saw me on the porch with my old, old 120 box camera. Her comment - "You don't really have film in that thing, do you?". The blurred effect was't an artistic touch - those old cameras only focused in the middle of the image.

Here's dad salvaging copper. For a long time, it was selling at about .95 a pound.

Here's Barb looking over the pile of parts which soon became a Heath GR-180 color TV. The set produced a picture the first time we turned it on.
